Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is no stranger to heated moments. Simmons and Cam Ward got into an intense argument during training camp last year, and Simmons found himself in a scuffle during Tuesday’s training camp session that resulted in his ejection.
According to the Tennessean part of the USA TODAY Network, Simmons threw a punch after getting his helmet ripped off during an 11-on-11 period of practice. Per New Channel 5 in Nashville, Simmons’ punch was toward Titans tackle JC Latham.
"Our policy is if you throw a punch, you're ejected in a game. Same thing with practice," Titans head coach Robert Saleh said later. "If you throw a punch, you're out of practice.
